Jabod At times rather bouncy to be considered true shoegaze, the Chambermaids' sound is really more of a hybrid between shoegaze and regular indie rock. They seem to have got the formula just right on this album, where foot-tappingly catchy tracks intermingle with slower-paced dreamier ones. Their previous albums are more punky but also worth checking out.
